Uploading Documents

After a workflow is configured, the next step is to start uploading documents to it. Xtracta currently provides four methods to upload documents into a workflow:

  • Email
  • FTP(s)
  • Web Uploader
  • API

Upload Documents

There are four main methods to upload documents into a workflow:

EmailDisplays the workflow's email address, which can be used to send documents directly into the workflow dashboard.
Upload via FTP
FTP(s)Shows the FTP address, username, and password. These credentials can be used to upload documents into the workflow via FTP(s).
Upload from Computer
Web UploaderOpens a window allowing users to drag and drop or browse for documents to upload directly from their computer.
APIAllows integration with external systems to upload documents programmatically using the provided API endpoints.

Relevant Information

Once documents are successfully uploaded to a workflow, they are assigned an ID and processed for data extraction. The document will then be automatically moved to one of the Dashboard Queues: Indexing, QA, Rejected, or History. The destination depends on how the workflow is configured in the Workflow Design Screen.
