Uploading Documents
After a workflow is configured, the next step is to start uploading documents to it. Xtracta currently provides four methods to upload documents into a workflow:
- FTP(s)
- Web Uploader
- API

Upload Documents
There are four main methods to upload documents into a workflow:

| Image | Method | Description |
|---|---|---|
![]() | Displays the workflow's email address, which can be used to send documents directly into the workflow dashboard. | |
![]() | FTP(s) | Shows the FTP address, username, and password. These credentials can be used to upload documents into the workflow via FTP(s). |
![]() | Web Uploader | Opens a window allowing users to drag and drop or browse for documents to upload directly from their computer. |
| API | Allows integration with external systems to upload documents programmatically using the provided API endpoints. |
On the Workflow Designer screen, Email and FTP input options are also displayed:

Relevant Information
Once documents are successfully uploaded to a workflow, they are assigned an ID and processed for data extraction. The document will then be automatically moved to one of the Dashboard Queues: Indexing, QA, Rejected, or History. The destination depends on how the workflow is configured in the Workflow Design Screen.
